The inclined tower-type UV weathering test chamber (also known as a tower-type UV weathering chamber, inclined UV weathering test chamber, or inclined tower-type slice UV weathering test chamber) is a specialized material weathering test device that employs an inclined tower-shaped specimen rack structure. It uses fluorescent UV lamps to directly irradiate standard thin-section specimens from the side, while incorporating condensation and spray functions to simulate a humid environment.
Structural Description:
- The chamber is manufactured using CNC equipment, featuring advanced craftsmanship, smooth lines, and an elegant, professional appearance
- The cabinet is made of 1.2mm thick steel plate with a baked enamel finish.
- The internal air ducting employs a single-cycle system with one imported axial fan, which enhances airflow and heating capacity, significantly improving temperature uniformity within the test chamber.
- Lamps: Specialized UV lamps, two rows totaling 8 lamps, 40W each.
- Lamp lifespan: Over 1,600 hours.
- Water source and consumption: Tap water or distilled water, approximately 20 liters per day
- A total of 8 UVA or UVB lamps are installed on both sides of the test chamber
- Heating method: Internal water-tank heating system, ensuring rapid temperature rise and uniform temperature distribution
- The chamber lid features a dual-direction hinged design for effortless opening and closing
- Automatic water replenishment for the inner tank prevents dry heating and damage to heating elements
- Sample racks are made of stainless steel or aluminum alloy
- The unit is equipped with high-quality PU casters at the base for mobility
- The drainage system utilizes a U-shaped trap for drainage

Heating System:
- Utilizes U-shaped titanium alloy high-speed electric heating elements
- Temperature control and lighting operate as completely independent systems
- Temperature control and power output are calculated by a microcomputer to achieve high precision and energy efficiency
- The heating system features an over-temperature protection function:
- Blackboard temperature is controlled via a color touchscreen programmable controller; output power is calculated by a microcomputer with PID self-tuning, and monitoring uses standard PT100 blackboard temperature sensors.
Spraying System:
- Spraying uniformity adjustment: Utilizes the controller’s manual control function to observe spraying conditions while the door is open.
- Spraying status monitoring: The machine is equipped with a spraying device. The spray system simulates the sudden temperature changes and rain erosion experienced during rainfall. It features multiple nozzles. Spray uniformity, timing, and duration can all be freely configured by the customer.
