Product Applications:

The ZY-DL100 Basis Weight Sampler is a specialized sampling tool designed to cut standard basis weight test specimens from paper and cardboard. Utilizing a lever-driven punching mechanism, it can quickly and accurately cut 100 cm² standard test specimens, with results expressed in grams per square meter (g/m²). It is suitable for sampling standard specimens required for the basis weight determination of various papers and for the burst strength testing of thin sheets. It serves as an ideal auxiliary testing instrument for the paper, packaging, and quality supervision and inspection industries and departments.

Industry Standard: QB/T 1671-1998 “General Technical Requirements for Punching Dies for Testing the Physical Properties of Paper and Paperboard,”
National Standard: GB/T 451.2 “Determination of Basis Weight of Paper and Paperboard,”

Product Features:

  1. Punch-type sampling method, ensuring precision, convenience, and speed;
  2. Hardened blades offer superior wear resistance and a wide range of applications;
  3. Stainless steel bearings ensure smooth operation, making the device more convenient and efficient to use;
  4. Easy to assemble with minimal sampling error (±0.2 mm), resulting in negligible test deviation;
  5. Features specially treated mold blades; unless damaged by human error, blades require no replacement for up to 10 years under normal use.
  6. Vertical and parallel positioning: 25mm vertical range with two-point positioning in a single operation
  7. Coaxial and concentric structure: Three-point guide rail positioning system with pure copper wear-resistant bushings.
  8. Built-in springs: Imported springs with an elasticity coefficient at least twice as stable as domestic springs
  9. Blade bite control: Utilizes a three-point positioning method with high-precision coaxial and concentric processing.
  10. Tool material: Made of chromium steel with added molybdenum and vanadium, precision-ground via high-precision wire-cut EDM CNC machining, and heat-treated three times at high temperatures for enhanced durability.
  11. Manufacturing process: Heat-treated tools with a high-quality baked paint finish.
