Product Application:

The ZY-BDY01 Whiteness Tester is used to measure the whiteness of base paper materials in the pulp and paper, packaging, and printing industries. This tester can accurately determine whiteness values that correspond to visual perception. For objects treated with optical brighteners, it can quantitatively reflect the whiteness values after brightening. It can also accurately measure and determine the opacity of paper. It is widely used in industries and commodity inspection departments that require the measurement of whiteness in paper, pulp, fiber pulp, textiles, printing and dyeing, plastics, ceramics, grains, building materials, paints, chemicals, salt, cement, starch, calcium carbonate, talc, and other materials.

Product Features：

• Measures the blue light diffuse reflectance factor (R457) of a sample, known as blue light whiteness or ISO brightness;
• Analyzes whether the sample material contains fluorescent whitening agents and measures the fluorescent whiteness resulting from fluorescent reflection, i.e., whitening degree;
• Determine the luminance stimulus value Y10 of the sample, i.e., the green light diffuse reflectance factor RY;
• Optional functions: Determine the opacity (OP), transparency, light scattering coefficient (S), and light absorption coefficient (A) of the sample;
• Determine the ink absorption value of paper and paperboard;
