The ZY-BSTD01 Paper Cup Body Stiffness Tester is a specialized instrument designed to measure the strength of paper cup bodies, primarily used to control the physical quality of paper cups through testing. This equipment is suitable for use by paper cup manufacturers, quality supervision bureaus, university research institutions, and other organizations. The paper cup stiffness tester is suitable for testing the stiffness of food packaging paper cups. It complies with the requirements and regulations of GB/T 27590 “National Standard for Paper Cups” to meet the stiffness values for cup bodies of various capacities, including food packaging paper cups, paper bowls, disposable cups, plastic cups, and food-grade paper buckets. It is an essential piece of equipment for testing the physical properties of paper cups in paper cup production, as well as in related research and quality inspection departments.

Principle of Operation：

The instrument primarily consists of a test head, a drive mechanism, and a measurement and control system. It is mainly used to measure the stiffness of paper cups and bowls. Place the test paper cup on the movable platform of the stiffness tester, along the two opposite side walls of the cup body, at a height of approximately two-thirds of the cup’s height, a force is uniformly applied in the diameter direction at a relative speed of (50.0 ± 2.5) mm/min. The maximum force is recorded when the total deformation of the cup’s side walls reaches (9.5 ± 0.5) mm.
