Application:

The ZY-TQD10 Schober Permeability Tester is designed and manufactured in accordance with the national standard QB/T 1667, “Testing Instrument for Permeability of Paper (Schober Method).” This instrument is specifically designed for testing the permeability of materials and can be applied to a wide range of paper types, such as cement bag paper, paper bag paper, cable paper, carbon paper, and industrial filter paper, all of which require permeability testing.
This paper air permeability tester is suitable for paper with air permeability ranging from 1×10⁻² to 1×10² μm/(Pa·s). It is not suitable for paper with high surface roughness.

Principle of Operation:

Under specified conditions, the average air flow rate passing through a unit area of the filter paper per unit time and per unit pressure difference, expressed in micrometers per Pascal [1 μm/(Pa·s)] = 1 mL/(m²·Pa·s).
