Purpose of the colorimeter:

The gravure spot color proofing machine is designed and manufactured to mimic the operating principles of a printing press. It features adjustable pressure and supports a wide range of substrates, making it suitable for use in packaging printing, paper manufacturing, ink production, and research institutions, among other sectors. Through standard proofing, the spot color proofing machine accurately predicts the hue of the ink. By continuously comparing the ink color against the standard sample, the correct ink formulation is determined. Once the spot color is properly formulated, mass production is carried out on the printing press according to that formulation, thereby shifting the color matching process entirely to the prepress stage.
